Our first aid course content:
This course offers a fun and varied learning experience where the student will learn how to:
• Assess and prioritise a first aid incident
• Deal with an unconscious casualty
• Carry out resuscitation (CPR)
• Control bleeding and manage shock
• Injuries to bones, muscles and joints
• Burns and scalds
• Manage eye injuries
• Deal with casualties overcome by fumes or suffering from poisoning
• Common injuries and illnesses
• Keeping appropriate records
• Maintaining appropriate first aid kits and stock
The course finishes with a written test and practical assessment from an external assessor.
Duration: 3 days - Delegates: up to 12 - Valid for 3 Years
