Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training and Unit
Zone Safety Training can now offer A.E.D units at a discounted rate in conjunction with the AOFA.
Sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in Europe, affecting about 700,000 individuals a year. Many of these victims can survive if a shock from an AED is delivered within the first 5 minutes.
Although it is not mandatory for an AED to be provided, it is highly recommended by the HSE that large premises have an AED unit on site.

We offer a comprehensive Automated External Defibrillation (AED) programme based on the necessary theory, backed up with lots of practical sessions.
The course is run over half a day, and is made as informative, yet as enjoyable as possible, thus allowing the students to gain confidence in what is a new and possibly somewhat daunting skill. In addition to training we are able to offer advice in areas such as, company protocols, purchasing equipment and on-going help and support with training and development.
